Pura Vida in Action: My Stay in Costa Rica

Updated: Oct 15, 2023

From the moment my plane touched down at Liberia Airport, I knew my trip to Costa Rica was going to be something special. But I didn't just visit Costa Rica; I lived Costa Rica, right in the heart of Guanacaste, at the spectacular Planet Hollywood resort. And let me tell you, it was nothing short of fabulous!

Living the High Life: Planet Hollywood wasn't just a place to stay; it was an experience. Imagine waking up to the most stunning views, indulging in all-you-can-eat-and-drink from an array of restaurants, ranging from a classy steakhouse to an authentic Japanese spot, and a buffet that changes the game. And the activities? Non-stop! Foam parties, private cabanas, and a level of service that made me feel like the star I am.

Adventure Beyond the Gates: But I didn't just bask in the resort life. Guanacaste

called, and I answered! I explored a volcano, rejuvenated in a hot spring, and indulged in a therapeutic mud bath. I revved through the landscapes on an ATV, taking in the local life, stopping at Sodas, and feeling the vibe of the town. The beaches? Gorgeous! The zip-lining through the rainforest? Exhilarating!

Embracing the Natural Beauty: What struck me the most was the untouched beauty of Costa Rica. During a sunset cruise, I was amazed at the sea creatures, explored caves, and basked in the most picturesque sunsets. The wildlife, from playful monkeys to exotic birds, made me feel a world away. And the people? Their warmth was as authentic as the natural wonders surrounding me.

A Therapy Like No Other: Back at Planet Hollywood, I treated myself to the best hydrotherapy I've ever had, washing away the real world's stresses, immersing myself in relaxation and emerging rejuvenated.

Conclusion: Costa Rica was more than a getaway; it was a plunge into a world of adventure, luxury, and natural beauty. It was about the thrill of the zip-line, the serenity of the hot springs, and the joy in every unexpected wildlife encounter. But most of all, it was about the spirit of Pura Vida that resides in the landscapes, the wildlife, and every person I met. Costa Rica, you left an imprint on my heart, and I can't wait to return!
